ohanaAloha Early Learning Advisory Board (ELAB) Members!

The ELAB is an established board under ACT178/SB2545, whose members are appointed by the Governor. The board is responsible for:

  • Advising the Executive Office on Early Learning;
  • Providing recommendations to the office;
  • Promoting collaboration across agencies and stakeholders serving young children; and
  • Being an independent voice for children's health, safety, development, and learning.

The purpose of this website is to communicate information to and from you, the board, as well as to communicate ELAB information to the community regarding the work the ELAB is responsible for in assisting to build a comprehensive early learning and development system for Hawai'i.
